As part of move to equip people of Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Nasser Mahama Toure, has distributed equipments to some selected individuals.
This distribution forms part of his ability to supports them undertake various expansions in their field of trade.
He advised that when properly use, it would help in closing the gap of unemployed youth within the catchment area.
During a short handing over ceremony held at the party office at Nima, the capital of Ayawaso East Municipality, the Hon. MP urged the recipients to put the equipments to good use to be able to expand their work and to employ more youth in the area.
Giving reason to the donation, he explained that some of his constituents approached him some time ago to request for those equipment to help in their businesses.
He deemed it prudent to equip and support them in that direction hence the distribution of the items.
He promised to continue with the support until the last person in the constituency is covered.
He revealed other areas he would be supporting includes skill training and setting up of businesses for those interested to venture in trading activities.
Items distributed includes two industrial sewing machines, two hand sewing machines, two hair dryers and two deep freezers.
