Akufo-Addo’s Bad Leadership Cause Coups In West Africa – Horoya Ali

The Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Cordinator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Ismail Ali Horoya has lampoon the chairman of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), H.E. Addo Danquah Akufo Addo for his bad leadership skills to head the regional body.
According to the NDC’s Regional Zango Caucus Coordinator, the Ghana’s President who doubles as the chairman of the ECOWAS was partly the course of the numerous coup d’ tat in the sub-region.
“Am not surprise some African countries chose to throw out their democratic elected leaders, this is partly the course of bad leadership serving (to head) the sub-regional body”, he said.
Mr. Ali Horoya further argued that “ECOWAS didn’t do due diligence in electing the Ghanaian President as their chairman”.
He opined that President Akufo-Addo has shown his true vine by brutalizing and killing his own country men and women during the 2020 general elections, making the country lawless which to him, he (Ali Horoya) should have been the basis to disqualify Nana Addo as chairman for the ECOWAS.
The NDC kingpin who was speaking to thealhajj.com in Accra on Wednesday, blamed Ghana’s President and described him as incompetent person to lead the sub-regional body.
Given his reason for lambasting President Akufo-Addo in the wake of numerous coup in West Africa since 2021 to date where about five coup had happened under his chairmanship, he described the numerous coup as unprecedented.
Following these poor fit, Ismaila Ali Horoya urged Nana Akufo-Addo to resign as chairman of the ECOWAS ahead of their extraordinary meeting in Accra on Thursday.
