NDC Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Cordinator Donates To Islamic University College

The Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Cordinator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Ismaila Ali Horoya has donated sports logistics to Students Representative Council (S.R.C) of the Islamic University College in Accra.

Logistics donated includes, set of training verses, 3 footballs, set of jersey and others.

Presenting the items, Mr. Ali Horoya explained that his office had received a letter from the student body requesting for the said items few weeks ago.

The Zongo Caucus boss said though the letter came in late but had respond to their called by making the donation.

He pledged to help the student body any time they need assistance adding that “my doors are always open for you”.

He appealed to the students to alert his office ahead of time whenever they need help so as to be able to put resources together.

The NDC chief scripe advised the SRC to put the items to good use to the benefit of the school.

Dr. Gameel Nasser, Vice President of the IUCG commended the Zongo Caucus and his team for the donation and called for more.

He urged other organisations to follow suit and come to the aid of the school in other areas of the school’s academic departments.

Muhsin Khalifa Kamil, SRC president also commended the NDC Zongo Caucus and his team for the timely intervention.

According to him, the items arrived at the time the school would be preparing for its sporting activities.

He indicated that the gesture shown by the Zongo Caucus boss would forever be remembered by the school and his name would be mentioned wherever to go.

In attendance were Abdullah Salifu (Sports Secretary), Abdul Hussein Ishaq (Lecturer, Religious Dept), Mr. Mujib Mohammed (PRO IUCG).

There rest were Alhassan Habibu (S.R.C PRO), Seidu Abdul Kansus (S.R.C Financial Secretary), Abdullahi Ali (S.R.C Organising Secretary), Ibrahim Mohammed Ninchel (S.R.C Local NUGS President) and Ibrahim Zakari Jaiden (S.R.C Vice President).
