The aspiring parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ahafo Ano South East Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Kofi Nti Boateng (KNB) has urged his party to overcome complacency and get its act right before the 2024 polls.
“It would be better for us to organize and begin our preparations now, he cautioned, when he spoke to some opinion leaders.
The astute politician underlined the need for the party to remain focused and work harder to meet the expectations of the people.
“We need to do our best to pull the people along by ensuring that their felt needs are tackled with urgency”, he added.
KNB as Kofi Nti Boateng is affectionately called said having now drawn a line under the party internal elections, “it is important to bring all party faithfuls together to operate as one people with the common goal of moving the party forward.
He cautioned members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) not to be complacent but vigilant in the 2024 elections.
According to the affable politician, he is confident of an NDC victory of not less than 55% of votes for presidential and over 150 parliamentary seats.
He said although the target was achievable, it requires the hard work of members in trumpeting the achievements of the NDC previous government.
“With a galaxy of such messengers, our parliamentary candidates hopeful, led by an accomplished presidential candidate, I am more than confident that NDC will win with a large margin.
The 55% for presidential and 150 parliamentary seats target I want to assure all of you are achievable, yet we needed to work hard, no complacency and we have to be vigilant on the Election Day,” he said.
Kofi Nti Boateng revealed that, as a social democratic party the NDC remains committed to the pursuance of a common and cherished goal in order to advance the Better Ghana Agenda.
He further called on all the ranks and files of the party fraternity to burry all their differences and forge ahead in a united front towards 2024 polls.
